The latest technological developments of MTorres at Le Bourget 2019

Recently, the company has launched new developments capable of offering a very attractive combination of highly productive and extremely flexible technology with a reduction in overall investment, including external issues such as foundation costs, reduction in space needs and others.

Among these new developments are:

• A new On-line inspection system with state-of-the-art technology in defect identification with the widest menu on the market.
• HD-Preg
• AFP multi-tape system with a range of tape widths up to more than 2” and with multifunction heads capable of managing more than 24 tapes in different types of materials (prepreg, dry fiber and thermoplastics), with the capacity to laminate over 300 kg/hour.

And finally, we also present connectivity technologies between machines that allow highly effective predictive maintenance through Big Data management.

There are alsorobotic applications in lamination (AFP-ATL)and also in carbon fiber riveting systems. On the other hand, MTorres continues to develop innovative automated assembly systems focused on reducing recurring costs.

Likewise, it will present in this edition a new automated mold-free manufacturing process for monocoque fuselages in composite material, a totally groundbreaking new manufacturing technology.
