Airbus honors MTorres for its excellence in quality and reliability
MTorres has been recognized by its client Airbus with the award in the ‘Agility’ category at the 2025 Annual Supplier Conference, held in Hamburg, Germany, on October 7 and 8.
This conference brings together a select group of strategic suppliers from among the more than 25,000 companies that make up the European aerospace giant’s supplier network.
During the awards ceremony, Airbus honored the top suppliers of the year in categories representing the six strategic traits it prioritizes in its partners.
MTorres shared the stage with other award-winning companies such as Rolls Royce, Lufthansa Technik, Panasonic Avionics, and Thales.
This recognition places MTorres among the most prominent strategic partners in Airbus’s global supply chain and comes at a particularly special time, as the company celebrates its 50th anniversary as a benchmark in industrial automation and digital transformation.
The award was granted in the “Agility” category, acknowledging the agility, adaptability, and commitment MTorres has demonstrated in its projects for Airbus. Currently, MTorres holds more than 20 active contracts focused on delivering equipment and solutions to Airbus, making the aerospace company MTorres’s largest client in terms of business volume.
Among the most significant ongoing projects are the A320 wing assembly lines in Broughton (United Kingdom), the new vertical fin drilling lines for the A320 in Stade (Germany), and the carbon fiber wing and fuselage tape-laying machines for the A350 in Illescas (Toledo) and Stade (Germany).
“This Airbus award is a source of pride for the entire MTorres team and a testament to the industrial talent that exists in Spain. Celebrating 50 years with recognition of this caliber reaffirms our commitment to continue innovating from our homeland for the global industry,” said Juan Albéniz, CEO of the Navarre-based company. He added, “This award strengthens our trusted relationship with Airbus and motivates us to keep growing from Navarra, investing in innovation, sustainability, and local talent.”
